Potterspury History Group
This group was established in 2019 by a group of residents who are interested in the history of our village and the local area. We have created a secure archive of historical material including photographs that have been collected over the years. Every 2 months we have an open meeting with a speaker on a variety of topics. We have also organised historical walks and a canal trips. We have a lending library of reference books that may be borrowed by members. We are a friendly group which welcomes new members.
Potterspury Players
We are a lively drama group which has been running in the village for over 40 years. We stage one/two productions a year, always popular and well-attended. Contact us if you are interested in any aspect of performance, directing, backstage, costume or lighting. We take our performances seriously - but above all we like to have fun!
Tai Chi
Originally developed as a martial art in Ancient China, Tai Chi is today practised as a slow, gentle and graceful exercise. With regular practice, it can help to improve balance, flexibility, strength and coordination. Also promotes relaxation, reduces stress and anxiety; creating awareness, calmness and overall sense of wellbeing.
